Tri-County High School will not have a football team this fall because of a low turnout. Last week, the Tri-County School Board voted to approve an agreement to have Tri-County high school students play for Oskaloosa this year, while junior high students will play for English Valleys. This is an agreement only for the upcoming school year.
Meanwhile, Oskaloosa is holding a football camp this week starting at 3:45pm Monday (8/2) so that players can get acquainted with the team’s offense and defense. The camp costs $25 and runs Monday through Friday (8/6). Tri-County High players are asked to be in front of the weight room door at 2:45 pm Monday to be driven to Oskaloosa. More information for Tri-County parents and students will be on the school district’s website and Facebook page.
