The legendary Ozzy Osbourne has been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The former Black Sabbath frontman attended the event virtually from his garden in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 6.
“Thank you so much WWE Universe for this award,” Ozzy said. “I don’t deserve it, but thank you anyway.”
“It’s all about the fans, really. Our fans are what keep us alive really. It’s all about them. I wanna thank Vince McMahon and Triple H – thank you very much, God bless you,” he added.
Ozzy made his debut at WrestleMania 2 in 1986, when he and Captain Lou Albano supported the British Bulldogs, Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid, in a tag-team match against the Dream Team, Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake.
Other inductees to the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2021 include Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Kane, The Great Khali and Rob Van Dam.
