Alice Cooper has confirmed that he has received the coronavirus vaccine. The rock icon and his wife Sheryl received the COVID vaccine at the Abrazo West Campus hospital in Goodyear, Arizona.
In a video message, the singer admitted he and his wife have recovered from COVID-19, but still they got vaccinated.
“We’re out here getting vaccinated,” Cooper said. “We’ve already had COVID, but we got vaccinated anyway.”
“And we’re out here with Team Rubicon, who’s a great band — I have all their albums, they’re really one of the best bands I’ve ever heard, ever, Team Rubicon,” he jokingly added. “And all the volunteers, it’s really great.”
Cooper continued, “Everybody out here’s been really, really nice. You don’t feel like you’re in any kind of danger of anything. So come on out. If you haven’t been vaccinated, come on out.”
Meanwhile, Cooper is set to release his latest album Detroit Stories on February 26. Earlier this month, the rock icon dropped the single “Social Debris” from the album.
