Christine McVie has expressed doubt if she and her bandmates Stevie Nicks and John McVie would team up for another Fleetwood Mac tour.
McVie, who is one of the three lead vocalists and the keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac, made her observations in a recent interview with BBC Radio 2.
“That’s an impossible question to even answer,” she told Johnnie Walker when asked about a future tour on the radio show “Sounds of the 70s.” “If we do, it would be without John and without Stevie, I think.”
“I think I’m getting a bit too old for it now – especially having had a year off. I don’t know if I could get myself back into it again,” added the 77-year-old English singer, songwriter and keyboardist.
Speaking about her ex-husband John McVie, Christine said he is “feeling a little bit frail.”
“He’s fine, but he just hasn’t got the heart for it anymore. He wants to get on his boat,” she said. “You reach a certain age where you go, ‘Hey, I’m not going to bust a gut doing this any more.”
However, Christine sounded optimistic about the chances of Mick Fleetwood’s availability for a future tour.
“I know Mick would do it in a lightning strike,” she said, referring to the Fleetwood Mac drummer.
