A new trailer has been released for a documentary that chronicles the quarter of a century old history of Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp.
The trailer for Rock Camp: The Movie features rock legends from the 1970s and ’80s, including Slash, Gene Simmons, Alice Cooper and Roger Daltrey.
The film “follows four campers and their families through their journeys to shred with their heroes. See how they overcome their fears, and transform their lives,” the producers said in a statement.
The trailer also features the 2002 episode of “The Simpsons” that was set in a fantasy camp.
“You would have a 15-year-old kid playing drums and a dentist on guitar,” Alice Cooper says in the film’s new trailer. “If this band were a real band, it’d be the weirdest band ever, but cool.”
The movie, directed and produced by Oscar-winner Douglas Blush, is set to release in limited theaters on January 15. A full on-demand launch will follow a month later.
