Roger Daltrey is going virtual for this year’s charity concert series. The Teenage Cancer Trust has announced a livestream concert series featuring unseen footage from The Cure, The Who, Pulp, and Paul McCartney.
The “Teenage Cancer Trust Unseen” event will stream for free on YouTube, encouraging viewers to donate as they watch sets from Noel Gallagher, Muse, Them Crooked Vultures, Ed Sheeran and more. Starting on October 8th, each stream will air everyday at 3pm ET, with more details to be announced soon.
“So here we are, six months into one of the strangest times in living memory, where everyone has had some sense of what isolation, even for short periods, can do to the state of our mental health,” Daltrey says in a statement. “Please donate generously to make sure this vital work continues through these difficult times.”
