Bryan Adams announced that he is set to perform at the Give Live A Chance Concert in Germany on September 4.
“The concert signifies an eagerly awaited re-start of major events in the music industry,” according to a statement on Adams’ website.
Bryan will close the show at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf with an acoustic performance.
The Canadian singer-songwriter will be the first major rock singer to headline a stadium concert since the coronavirus pandemic closed music concerts.
Sarah Connor, Rea Garvey, The BossHoss, Michael Mittermeier and Joris are also scheduled to perform as opening acts.
Ticket sales started on Tuesday through www.ticketmaster.de
Concert organizers Live Nation Germany said that mandatory masks, safety measures and socially distanced seating will be in place.
