At Tuesday night’s (4/14) Oskaloosa School Board meeting, it was revealed that 134 seniors are on track to graduate and two are not. Late last week, Governor Reynolds announced that the state will be waiving graduation requirements for seniors.
“Students that are on track to graduate or were on track to graduate prior to the school closure will have some different options. Parents of seniors and seniors will be receiving information about that (Wednesday) and they’ll be able to indicate their choices.”
Oskaloosa Superintendent Paula Wright says that information should come Wednesday (4/15). Seniors can either accept the grade they had for a class when schools were closed, simply take credit for passing the course, as opposed to a grade, re-do class work to improve their grade or drop the course.
