KISS has canceled meet and greets in El Paso and elsewhere due to coronavirus concerns.
Holders of VIP packages that included a photo opportunity on the sidelines of the band’s End of the Road Tour concert at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso on Monday were informed through an e-mail from KISS manager Doc McGhee that meet and greets are canceled until further notice as the deadly coronavirus spreads.
“Our meet and greets have always offered us and you our fans a unique opportunity to literally stand shoulder to shoulder together,” McGhee said in the mail.
He added, “After many discussions with experts in the field, we have been advised to temporarily cancel these events given the reality that we do this nightly for a hundred or more fans.”
McGhee made it clear that shows will continue as scheduled and the band looks forward to resuming their time with the fans backstage.
