Robbie Robertson and Warren Haynes will perform at the all-star The Last Waltz tribute show during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Robertson and Haynes will be joined by artists such as Jamey Johnson, Don Was, John Medeski, Ivan Neville and Dave Malone.

“The Last Waltz New Orleans: An All-Star Celebration of the Band’s Historic Farewell Concert” will be held on May 2 at the historic Saenger Theatre in New Orleans.

This special night of music captures the excitement of The Band’s historic 1976 Thanksgiving concert, when they performed their final concert to a sold-out crowd.

Robertson, the lead guitarist and primary songwriter of the Band, said New Orleans has always been a special and influential place.

“I am honored to continue the tradition of celebrating The Last Waltz with this extraordinary lineup in a city that has meant so much to me,” he added.

Tickets go on sale on March 6, at 12PM CT.
