Documentaries on rock music icons Brian Wilson and Ronnie Wood will premiere at the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.
Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road is a non-linear cinematic memoir in which the Beach Boys co-founder takes a drive around Los Angeles with Rolling Stone editor and longtime friend Jason Fine.
The documentary was directed by Brent Wilson, and written by him and Jason Fine. Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Linda Perry, Jim James, Nick Jonas and Gustavo Dudamel appear in the film along with Wilson.
Somebody Up There Likes Me features a series of intimate conversations with Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.
Besides Ronnie, Sally Wood, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Rod Stewart and Charlie Watts appears in the film. It was directed by Mike Figgis and produced by Peter Worsley and Louis Figgis.
The 19th edition of the Tribeca Film Festival will be held in New York City from April 15 to 26.
In all, 114 films from 124 filmmakers who hail from over 30 countries will be screened during the film festival.
