Lynyrd Skynyrd have pushed back two dates on the band’s “Last of the Street Survivors” tour to give guitarist and original member Gary Rossington time to recuperate from heart surgery.
The Southern rock band was scheduled to perform at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 16 and at Toyota Amphitheater in Wheatland, California, the next day. The revised dates are October 18 and 19, respectively.
Organizers said that tickets purchased for the original shows will be honored for the October dates.
Johnny Van Zant said the band appreciates the well wishes for Rossington and apologized for any inconvenience the postponement may have caused.
“But he can’t wait to come back and perform at 100% for the fans. We will see you all soon,” said the band’s lead vocalist.
