The Oskaloosa High football team has started practicing.  Coach Jake Jenkins talks about the turnout.

“Right now we have 53, that’s grades 10, 11, 12, which is pretty good.  The senior class, they’ve always been kind of small, but mighty. They’re a good class, they’re just small in numbers.  We’ve got some guys come out this year which is a good surprise….some seniors coming out for the first time or coming back to the game of football.  Good numbers overall.”
