Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has revealed that he is working on his first solo studio album in nearly a decade.
The album is set to drop in October along with a documentary about the 72-year-old rocker’s life.
According to The Sun, the making of both projects took four years to complete and Wood had to juggle several things to find time for it.
“This album and the TV show is a big deal for Ronnie. He hasn’t done any solo recordings since I Feel Like Playing and Live In London in 2010. He felt it was time to tell his story with a program he fully cooperated with. It’s likely to be with the BBC or Netflix and offers a very candid look back on his life,” The Sun cites a music source as saying.
The Rolling Stones are currently on their No Filter tour and will also possibly drop a new album as well.
