Bob Dylan and Neil Young performed their first duet in 25 years by playing the traditional hymn “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” in Ireland on Sunday.
The rare event of the legendary rockers – Young on guitar and Dylan on piano – sharing the stage together took place at the conclusion of their co-headlining Never Ending Tour at Nowlan Park in the Irish city of Kilkenny.
The performance evoked memories of their duet debut at San Francisco’s Kezar Stadium in 1975, singing the same song.
Neil Young Archives shared a video of the performance on Instagram, noting that “This is just a little snippet from a cellphone, peace.”
Young’s organization promised to fans that it will re-broadcast the Kilkenny show on The Archives “sometime this week”.
