Cayden Carter of Oskaloosa was a double winner Wednesday night (7/10) at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. Carter started his night by winning the Oskaloosa Quality Rental Sportsmod feature race. Then Carter outdueled Nathan Wood of Sigourney to win the Midstate Machine Stock Car feature. In other races, Dustin Griffiths of Hedrick started Wednesday night’s Parker Tree Service Hobby Stock Race in sixth position but finished in first place. Trent Orwig of Ottumwa won the Autocrafters Sport Compact race. And Jonathan Hughes of Knoxville was the winner of the Wingless Sprints. The next night of racing at the Southern Iowa Speedway will be Tuesday, July 16, headlined by the first Caleb Hammond Memorial. The regular five classes of cars will be joined by the Modifieds next Tuesday.
