After undergoing heart surgery in March, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger returned to the stage for the first time at Chicago’s Soldier Field on Friday.

Jagger was as energetic as ever and moved around the stage, entertaining a sold-out crowd of 60,000, reports say.

The 75-year-old rocker underwent a heart valve procedure called a transcatheter aortic valve replacement at a New York Hospital in March.

Jagger’s illness resulted in the Rolling Stones postponing the North American leg of their No Filter tour.

The band was scheduled to launch the tour on April 20 and continue through July 29. The entire tour was postponed.

The rescheduled tour kicked off in Chicago.

Beginning with “Street Fighting Man,” Jagger sang 20 songs during his two-hour long performance.

“We love Chicago so much we decided to start the tour here instead of Miami,” Jagger told the crowd, adding that he feels “pretty good.”
