The Mahaska County 4-H and FFA Fair is having its annual fundraiser tonight (4/26) at Bradbury Hall at the Nelson Pioneer Farm in Oskaloosa. Amy Brainerd with the Extension Office says this year, they’re emphasizing the fun in fundraiser.
“Typically, we just have a silent auction and a live auction and a meal, but this time we decided to bring some entertainment, So we do have Royce Johns coming in. He will start his concert at 8pm. He’s a really exciting artist, He’s got a looper that he uses and different styles of music, so we’re really excited to have him this year.”
Brainard says there will be a catered meal from Melody’s Kitchen starting at 6pm, with the Buck Plucker auction starting at 7, then the Royce Johns concert starting at 8. Tickets are available now at the Mahaska County Extension Office in Oskaloosa until 4:30pm Friday. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and under. Tickets will be available at the door, but there will also be higher ticket prices at the door, too.
