It’s going to be a busy weekend for Oskaloosa High’s basketball teams. Tonight (12/14), the Indians boys and girls host Newton in a Little Hawkeye Conference matchup. Then tomorrow night (12/15), Oskaloosa plays at EBF. We’ll have all the games this weekend on KBOE-FM; tonight’s coverage starts at 6 with the girls’ game at 6:15 and the boys’ game following around 7:45. Saturday’s coverage starts at 4:45pm with the girls’ game at 5:00 and the boys following at around 6:30.
Coming up tonight in high school basketball….these are all boys and girls doubleheaders: Montezuma at Sigourney, Norwalk at Pella, Pella Christian hosts Indianola, Grinnell at Dallas Center-Grimes, Twin Cedars hosts Melcher-Dallas, EBF at Knoxville, Lynnville-Sully at Keota and Ottumwa at Des Moines North. And there’s one boys’ only matchup tonight: that has North Mahaska at Tri-County.
In the latest girls’ high school basketball rankings from the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, Grinnell is ranked fourth in Class 4A with Knoxville 11th. And in Class 1A, Montezuma is ranked third, Lynnville-Sully fifth and North Mahaska is number ten this week.
