The crowd pumped their fists and clapped their hands as the stately electric guitar chords opened the song and frontman Paul Stanley sang “I really love you baby, I love what you’ve got,” in his signature raspy voice. “Let’s get together, we can get hot/ No more tomorrow, baby time is today/ Girl, I can make you feel okay.”
The energy continued to build during the chorus, with Stanley engaging the crowd and guitarist Tommy Thayer breaking into an epic guitar solo during the bridge. Additional backstage video showed Fallon in a hallway with the band as they flung picks toward the camera. After discussing their farewell tour, Stanley showed Fallon how to flick a pick into a jack-o-lantern.
