The Iowa high school volleyball playoffs got under way Tuesday night. In Class 1A Region 7, North Mahaska opened with a sweep of BGM in New Sharon. The scores were 25-12, 25-13 and 25-20. North Mahaska Coach Alicia Arkema talked about the win.
“We came out strong, being aggressive in all aspects, serving, hitting and getting them off their game and getting some easy balls to come over. I think we accomplished that. We set out a game plan and they executed well.”
