BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN OPENS UP ABOUT 'MONSTER' PEPTIC ULCER DISEASE

Bruce Springsteen Opens Up About ‘Monster’ Peptic Ulcer Disease

Bruce Springsteen has opened up about the peptic ulcer disease that forced him to postpone his 2023 tour dates into next year.

Springsteen, who resumed his “From My Home to Yours” SiriusXM radio show, said during the show, “This belly thing, despite my ability to laugh at it, has been a monster and is still, unfortunately, rocking my internal world. But it’s better this week than it was last. I want to thank everybody for their support and well wishes.”

In September, Springsteen revealed that he would continue to receive treatment for peptic ulcer disease through the end of the year, and that his scheduled North American shows would instead take place in 2024. Original tickets to the rescheduled shows will be honored at the new dates.

“We will see you in the new year, and we will bring it to you, in your town, at the top of our game,” Springsteen said. “There’s no other way.”
