Piercing the Darkness, southeast Iowa’s own Christian rock band, will be putting on a concert at New Life Fellowship in Keswick, Iowa on Friday, July 10th at 7:00 pm. There will be a free will offering taken to help support Piercing the Darkness as they go back to the studio to record their next CD. The band is coming off of the success of their debut album, “More Than Human”, that featured the song “All Glory To The Father” which was played on Christian rock stations throughout the United States, received international airplay, and hit the top of the charts on several radio stations, including Christianrock.net.

Piercing the Darkness will be playing all of their new material that will be on the upcoming album, along with several Christian praise and worship standards that the audience will be familiar with. New Life Fellowship is located just south of Keswick at 14358 Highway 22.

Piercing the Darkness consists of Steve Shettler (Sigourney), Ken & Tammy Finch (New Sharon), Curt Roozeboom (New Sharon), and Brian Root (Ottumwa).
