Planting a Rainbow is the theme for the monthly Iowa State University Extension and Outreach of Mahaska County Family Friendly Workshop.

The workshop will be held the May 21; from 6-7 pm at the Mahaska County Extension Office. Cost is FREE and open to the public. Prior registration is not required but appreciated.

We will be planting plants and seeds (in the colors of the rainbow) in the Extension Flagpole garden. We will be sharing ISU Extension and Outreach horticulture publications. The workshop is geared to families who garden or wanting to learn about gardening. Anyone of any age who is interested in the topic is encouraged to attend.
