Want to learn about growing and freezing your own herbs? An opportunity to do this will be Tuesday May 5. The Mahaska County Master Gardens will be available at the HyVee Garden Center from 7-8 PM to answer your gardening questions.

Lois Harris, a Mahaska County Master Gardner will provide a brief presentation on growing herbs. Debbie Guild, HyVee dietitian will provide a brief presentation on freezing herbs. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
