The Indian Hills Community College Science Club along with the Aldo Leopold Foundation, and the college’s Sustainable Ag Club in conjunction with the Iowa Corn Growers Association will feature two free movies this month. Both will be shown at the Majestic Theater in Centerville on Wednesday, April 22.
The first film is Greenfire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time. Leopold grew up in Burlington, Iowa, and went on to a career in which he was considered the father of wildlife biology. Leopold?s ideas, featured in the film, are considered cutting-edge in 21st century conservation.

The second movie will be Farmland, an excellent film that gives the audience a glimpse of the newest generation of farmers.
Showtimes for Greenfire will be 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Farmland will be shown at 1 p.m. on the 22nd.

Admission to the films is free and the public is invited to attend.
