The Mahaska Humane Society has sponsored ‘Going to the Dogs,’ a fundraiser for the new animal shelter in Mahaska County on Saturday, April 14 at Debbie’s Celebration Barn. This will be an evening of comedy, music, and fun after the prom promenade in Oskaloosa. Featuring ‘Dogs on Skis’ playing classic rock from the 80’s to present, as well as stand-up comedian Steve ‘The Round Guy’ Pilchen. Pet pictures will be from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. Limited seating and tickets. Event is open to all ages, but there will be a cash bar open to 21+ (that’s three in dog years!)
