Rock icons KISS announced earlier this week that they will release a new documentary, KISS: End of The Road this fall.
The band said the documentary, which will provide a behind-the-scenes look at their latest farewell tour, will first debut on their website, powered by streaming technology partner Kiswe, and then stream on other platforms.
The film is directed by DJ Viola and produced by Leslie Greif of Big Dreams Entertainment & Elemeno Productions.
“The End of The Road World Tour was the culmination of fifty years of touring to elevate the live concert experience for fans old and new. A defining moment in Kiss history,” Paul Stanley shared. “The documentary takes everyone along with us to see and be a part of all the unseen moments that made this last tour one of the wildest, most memorable rides of our career. We can’t wait for the world to see it through our eyes for the very first time and relive the magic of these shows.”
Gene Simmons added, “This documentary showcases the closing chapter of our touring career, back in NY where it all started for us. The Madison Square Garden shows were full of raw energy and the film gives an inside perspective for the very first time. We can’t wait for everyone to see it and experience the world of Kiss in a way they’ve never seen before. ”
The band will premiere the film across several platforms, to be announced throughout fall, beginning with a special live streaming event on KISSOnline on November 19th. The event will be presented by Mercury Studios, the world’s leading music-focused content studio.
