KELLOGG – A Sioux City man faces multiple charges after allegedly exposing himself at a campground at Rock Creek State Park while being in possession of illegal drugs.

According to court records, on Sunday, August 2, multiple campers at Rock Creek State Park in Kellogg observed 63-year-old William Renken of Sioux City walking around a campground, washing himself in public, and driving through the park, all while he was only wearing a tank top. 

Renken was arrested by members of the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office following the reports. Deputies said that Renken’s pants and shoes were found in a public restroom; they also allege that he was found to be in possession of 5.1 grams of methamphetamine during this incident.

Renken now faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance – 3rd or Subsequent Offense (Class D felony), Indecent Exposure (serious misdemeanor), and Driving While Barred (aggravated misdemeanor). He is currently free after posting a $5,000 bond and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 10.
