The Stones match the No. 1 debut of their last studio album, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds, meaning the legendary British band draw level with their 1960s contemporaries The Beatles at 15 No. 1 albums apiece. Only Robbie Williams, with 16 No. 1 albums, has more in the U.K. Official Albums chart’s seven decades old history.

Right behind the Stones, My Chemical Romance storm to No. 2 with a remastered Deluxe Edition of their fourth and final studio album, 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love by Olivia Rodrigo is ranked No. 3 and The Essential Michael Jackson follows it at No. 4.

At No. 5, new lads on the block December 10 secure the highest charting album by a British boy band in six years with their first studio set, On Your Side.

The U.K. Official Albums Chart ranks the United Kingdom’s Top 100 biggest artist albums of the July 16-22 tracking week, compiled by the Official Charts Company based on sales of CDs, downloads, vinyl, audio streams and video streams.
