Billy Joel Carnegie Hall Tribute Concert To Feature Star-Studded Lineup

A star-studded line-up has been unveiled for a Billy Joel tribute concert at Carnegie Hall.

A wide range of artists from the pop-rock, folk and country genres will be performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City on March 12, 2026.

The line up includes Mary Chapin Carpenter, Gavin DeGraw, Bettye LaVette, Pat Monahan of Train, Matt Nathanson, Joy Oladokun, O.A.R.’s Marc Roberge, Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20, The War and Treaty, Tanya Tucker, Rufus Wainwright and Billy Joel’s daughter Alexa Ray Joel. More artists will be added to the list soon.

Although Billy Joel, 76, is not performing at the concert, next year’s House Band will be his own backing band, consisting of Musical Director/Bandleader David Rosenthal, Mark Rivera, Crystal Taliefero, Carl Fischer, Tommy Byrnes, Andy Cichon, Chuck Burgi and Mike DelGuidice.

The 2026 edition of the annual Carnegie Hall Tribute Series, titled “The Music of Billy Joel,” is promoted by Michael Dorf.

All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit music education for underserved youth programs in New York City and beyond.

General admission tickets for the concert are already sold out. More information on VIP tickets is available here.
