STEVIE NICKS, LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM SEEMINGLY BACK ON SPEAKING TERMS

Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham Seemingly Back On Speaking Terms

Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham are seemingly back on speaking terms after the pair appeared on the “Song Exploder” podcast to discuss the making of their iconic track “Frozen Love.”

Last month, the legendary duo reissued their 1973 album Buckingham Nicks, making it publicly available for the first time since its original release.

While the “Song Exploder” appearance seems to comprise two separate interviews, Nicks did share that the former lovers and Fleetwood Mac members are now back on speaking terms:

“Lindsey and I started talking about it last night. This whole thing seems really like yesterday to us,” she said.

Just last year, Nicks had said that she could only stand to speak with her former Fleetwood Mac bandmate and ex-partner “for about three minutes.”

During her segment of the interview, Nicks explained the theme of “Frozen Love,” saying, “The song is about two people that were in love, that had a lot of differences and saw the world slightly differently, but had this like relationship that seemed to be, like a gift.”

“I like to think of it as Wuthering Heights or Great Expectations — a modern-day love affair, tragedies. Because nobody really loves happy songs. Certainly, I didn’t, and neither really did Lindsey,” she continued.
