Ostert Honored by College Sports Communications

OSKALOOSA — Lilly Ostert (So., Madrid, Iowa, Exercise Science) was honored for a strong 2025 season in and out of the classroom as she earned academic all-district track and field honors from College Sports Communicators Tuesday.

Ostert, who owned a 3.84 Grade Point Average at the end of the academic year, posted numerous high finishes during the track and field indoor and outdoor campaigns.  She was a member of the 4×100-meter relay team that broke the school record and placed fourth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship.

The award combines both athletic and academic achievements.  To be eligible for the award, individuals must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been enrolled at the nominating institution for one year (transfers use grades from their previous institution), and have a 3.50 Grade Point Average.

Additional competition criteria is also required.
