OSKALOOSA — The Malvern Bank Super Late Model Racing Series event scheduled to take place on June 25th at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa fell victim to the continuing rains that have hit Southern Iowa early in the week, prior to the Wednesday race night. The race would have been the third trip to the Southern Iowa Speedway for the traveling Super Late Models of the SLMR Series. Unfortunately, due to the hectic schedule of the Series and the limited dates available the race will not be rescheduled in 2025.
The Southern Iowa Speedway is scheduled to be off the week of the 4th of July, so the next race will be on July 9th. Teeter Construction & Dirt Work plus J. Teeter Trucking will be sponsoring Kids night which will also include the 2025 Southern Iowa Speedway Hall of Fame Inductions. The Five regular classes will be joined by the return of the Vintage late Models. Hot laps on July 9th will take to the Mahaska County monster ½ mile at 7:15 pm with racing to follow.
