Steve Perry Auctioning Items From Personal Archives To Benefit Victims Of LA Wildfires

Former Journey singer Steve Perry is selling a vast collection of items from his personal archives to raise money for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a charity that provides financial help to musicians who are struggling and workers in music industry.

Among the offerings, Perry is providing his handwritten lyrics for several Journey classics, including “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Faithfully” and “Foolish Heart.” He is also providing signed RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) sales awards for Journey’s Greatest Hits album and Escape.

“I’m excited to open up my personal archives and give fans who have supported me through the years a chance to own a piece of my musical journey”, Perry says. “Every item in this collection comes directly from my personal archive. These pieces have been carefully stored for many years, and now I feel it’s the right time to pass them on from my hands to yours, to be enjoyed, remembered and treasured in your own personal collections,”

The auction is available on the new Darkives Collectables auction site, which is a division of Dark Hourse Records. The auction ends on June 13th at 12 P.M.

The sale is being managed by Darkive Collectables, who recently released a new version of “Faithfully” that was recorded by Perry and country legend Willie Nelson.
