North Mahaska Shooters Score Well at Knoxville

KNOXVILLE – North Mahaska’s shooting team traveled to Knoxville Saturday and came away with first place in varsity and third in junior varsity. Colton Vander Wiel and Caleb Hol were the top boy’s shooters while Riley Eischen was second for girls.

In varsity competition, Vander Wiel led with a 48 with Trenton Hol behind him with a 47. Luke Boender scored 45, Michael Hudnut and Ash Arthur each scored 43 for a total 226.

Caleb Hol led the JV with a 49 followed by Cain Grandia and Logan Van Zee with 36s. Eischen shot a 32 and Jayden Shilling shot a 17 for a 170 total.
