TEARS FOR FEARS ANNOUNCE FIRST-EVER LIVE ALBUM

Tears For Fears Announce First-Ever Live Album

Tears for Fears have announced their first ever live album, titled, Songs For A Nervous Planet.

Featuring 18 live songs and four new studio tracks, the album is scheduled for release on October 25.

Additionally, the English pop rock duo announced a new concert film. Recorded in the summer of 2023 at FirstBank Amphitheater at Graystone Quarry in Franklin, Tennessee, during their Tipping Point Tour Part II, Tears For Fears Live (A Tipping Point Film) will be released globally in theaters via Trafalgar Releasing on October 24 and October 26.

Tickets will go on sale on September 19.

“We decided to film the live show last year. I think a lot of people don’t know that we are a good live band, actually!” said Curt Smith, the co-lead vocalist, bassist and co-founding member of Tears for Fears. “They see a duo, and they think it’s going to be two people with a couple of keyboards and a bunch of backing tapes, and that’ll be it. Over the years, we’ve vastly improved since our heyday back in the Eighties.”

Roland Orzabal adds, “We’ve never released an official live album, so you could say this is an album forty years in the making.”

In support of the new album and concert film, Tears For Fears will play three nights live at BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, beginning on October 30.
