Items from Fleetwood Mac keyboardist and singer Christine McVie, including stage-played instruments, cherished wardrobe pieces, awards and mementos, will be auctioned at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville next month.
Juliens Auctions will host the two-day event, titled, Property From The Life and Career of Christine McVie, on October 16 and 17.
From her iconic Hammond XK-5 organ, which accompanied her on countless Fleetwood Mac tours, to her personal Yamaha digital piano, the auction items offer a glimpse into McVie’s creative world. Handwritten lyrics, set lists, and even a framed piano certificate from her early days as a classical student will be among items that are up for auction.
A tanzanite and diamond ring in cartier mounting, her Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction award, her 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year stage-worn blazer and Fleetwood Mac stage-played Hammond XK-5 Heritage Series Organ with Lower Manual are featured in the trove of meticulously-curated artifacts.
All the proceeds from the auction will benefit MusiCares and other charities, celebrating McVie’s lasting impact on music and her philanthropic spirit.
