Bruce Springsteen is now a billionaire, according to the Forbes magazine, which estimates his net worth to be around $1.1 billion.

Springsteen, who has consistently earned financial success ever since the release of his Born to Run album in 1975, has been growing rapidly in stature over the past few years. In 2021, he sold his entire music catalog to Sony for a whopping $500 million.

Additionally, he has been touring a lot since February 2023. His trek has reportedly brought in $380 million in revenue, according to Variety. Forbes lists Springsteen’s ticket sales from his 2023 world tour to be around 1.6 million.

Springsteen has a new Disney+/Hulu concert documentary coming up in October and a tour schedule for 2025. Also in line is the Springsteen biopic based on his 2023 biographical book Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.

The legend, who has 21 studio albums, seven live albums, and five EPs to his name, and has sold over 140 million albums globally, has places in both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

He has 20 Grammy awards, an Oscar, special Tony Award, Kennedy Center Honors, and Presidential Medal of Freedom as well.

Taylor Swift and Rihanna, who had already moved into the billionaires list, are worth an estimated $1.3 billion and $1.4 billion, respectively.
