Tom Petty’s estate has released a brand new music video for the late musician’s “Something Could Happen.”
“Something Could Happen” is an unreleased song from Petty’s 1994 album Wildflowers. It appeared on Petty’s new double album reissue Wildflowers & All the Rest, released this year.
The video, featuring The Walking Dead’s Lauren Cohan, was directed by Warren Fu.
“In looking back on Tom’s old music videos, it was obvious that he had a lot of fun with them and was not afraid to get a bit weird,” Fu said in a statement.
“I wanted to create another modern fairy-tale in the spirit of Tom’s music video for ‘Into the Great Wide Open,” he added. “Tom never compromised his artistic integrity and always stayed true to who he was, so I feel like our message in this video is in line with his spirit.”
