Huey Lewis & The News is putting out their first new album of original music in almost two decades. The band has announced that they’ll release “Weather” on Valentine’s Day.

The last time the band put out a full-length album was in 2010 with their covers album “Soulsville,” but they haven’t released a record of original tunes since 2001’s “Plan B.” We previously reported that they shared their first new single in over a decade, and now they’re giving fans another preview with the song “While We’re Young.”

The album announcement comes after Lewis revealed he was diagnosed with an inner ear disorder that’s caused him to have to take a break from the road. Even so, they’re obviously not letting his health struggle stop them from putting out new music.
