Lake Red Rock will host “Lions in the Park!” on Saturday, June 25th, starting at 10:30 am at the Howell Station Campground. Lions at Lake Red Rock? Ridiculous, right?  Actually, these lions are so small, they are easily overlooked! Join us on “safari” to search for the larvae of Ant Lions, insects that build small sand traps to catch ants or other live prey. We’ll look for their lairs and see if we can catch them in action!
